I had Friday off last week because I was scheduled 9 days in a row so I got a 3 day weekend! :) Friday after Josh got off work we went to his bosses house for dinner. Kinda awkward but it was good food and there were some funny kids to watch and listen to. After we wanted to go out and be spontaneous. No one wanted to join us so we ended up at home drinking first.
Yes, that's right...captain and diet out of a wine glass. :)
Then after two drinks we walked to bars by our house. We had a good time laughing at the people singing kareoke and talking really loudly over the super loud music.
Saturday we were supposed to go to Duluth to look at fall colors but since they peaked early this year we decided on a drive. We got in the car and took off. Took random turns and didn't care that we were "lost".
As we were turning down random streets we came upon this street. We had to take a picture.
We also came upon a cute little park, with a river running through it.
Most trees had all the leaves off already. :(
Josh thought this was the most hilarious thing...so here's a picture of it. Cnty Rd PP. Josh: "Take a picture of PP...haha...PP" The two signs together are sorta funny: C PP.
As we turned on the GPS to go home, it told us to take Jewell Rd.
The GPS then led us home. We spoiled ourselves and got Dominos for dinner.
We chowed down on that and watched a movie. A good night!
Sunday we had the Vikes game and it was against the Cowboys. The Cowboys are Carlos' (Josh's mom's fiance) favorite team so we headed over to his mom Jodi's place for the game. She made chili dogs, chips and dip,and mac and cheese. O man was I full.
Tuesday I made some baked ziti. Omg it was super good. Super easy to make also. Basically just mixed everything today, including non baked noodles, put it in the oven and it comes out all cheesy and yummy.
Josh really liked it too. Mmm. Sometimes a good home cooked meal is the BEST!
Those were my adventures last weekend. Now this week they start again on Friday when Jared and Michelle arrive at our house, to stay over for the weekend. I'm soo excited for the good times.
